My name is Bennett Davis Deshishku and I am from a little town in Maryland called Kensington. I have one brother, one step-sister, and one half-sister. My major is in Animal Behavior and, if you were wondering, my interests primarily lie in video games. The reason I chose animal behavior as my major is because at the time of picking my major, I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. Then my mother suggested I try out animal behavior and marine biology knowing I have interests in those. The two of us are very close which is why I trusted her judgement and agreed to apply for those majors. I got denied for marine biology but accepted for animal behavior which is why that is my major today. Because I still don’t know exactly where I want my life to head, I have no professional goals, well for now anyways. The reason I chose UNE over the other universities lies in the fireside chats. They happened over the summer at least once every two weeks. Eventually, it got annoying how frequently they were contacting me. However, the frequent contacts made feel like they wanted me around, which to me is a very important thing. I only got accepted by two other schools, one of which contacted me once and one not at all. Overall, the reason I picked UNE was because the frequent contacts made me feel wanted.
