Like I said in my blog post of the other two articles, the biggest thing that links the two articles is the idea of self-expression. Now we got another article about self-expression to an extent, that being “Raising A Black Son In America” by Calvin Hennick. This article is about a father trying to protect his son from racism but ultimately, to no avail. The article delves headfirst into the harshness of racism and how hard it is to express oneself as a black person in a world where black people are not treated equally.
